Following are the five simple steps that you need to follow in order to clean the Carburetor of your chainsaw. 

Step# 1 Cleaning the Air Filter 

Cleaning the air filter of the Carburetor of your chainsaw is probably the most important and essential step while you plan to clean it overall. 

The reason why this is considered the most important step is that the clogged air filter easily blocks all the air that is required into the ignition chamber. This blockage can malfunction your engine, and therefore, to get the Carburetor working well, you have to clean its filter first. 

If your chainsaw contains a metal filter, you can easily clean it by washing it in any liquid agent of your choice. While, if your chainsaw comes with a paper filter, then you can replace it, as wiping it with liquid agents might disintegrate it. 

Step# 2 Clean the Intake Components 

After that, you have successfully completed the first step, and you have to deeply clean all the intake components. All you have to do is examine the wind intake area and figure it the waste; you will see it in a brown/golden color, and it is easily visible. You have to clean this sticky residue.

Step# 5 Pass through some Fresh Gas

If the issue is caused by some condensed propane that gets settled by the mixing of old fuel or diesel, then removing older gas and then refilling it with the cleaner gas might help you with the issue.
